My feathered flock
I have 5 birds.
My oldest is a double yellow headed Amazon named Sunny. We got Sunny in 1989.
Next is Baby, a blue front Amazon. We got Baby 2 months after Sunny in 1989.
Next is MaggyMay, a Congo Grey. We got Maggy in 1990.
Next is Pepper, another Congo Grey. We got Pepper in 1991.
And last is Peppy, the Timneh Grey. We got Peppy this summer, and he is 12 years old.
Peppy came as a rescue of sorts, as he belonged to 2 guys, and one of them commited suicide, and his partner wanted to rehome Peppy. We are friends with this guys mother, and when she asked us to take Peppy, we couldn't say no. He's adorable.
So all my birdies are getting rather "mature" now, as they approach 20. I'm pretty "mature" myself.
