I had no idea it was the year of the rat, that is quite intriguing.
I'm hoping for a great year. Although 2007 was a good year, it was a year of loss and grief for me and Ray. We lost our special cat, Jade. Our miracle guinea pigs, Champ and Tawney. We lost our head tilt bunny, Fagan and Old man Bunny, Butterscotch. We lost, kodiak the ferret, who we loved briefly while he was here for hospice care. And just recently we lost Stanley the hamster. I know loosing loved ones is part of having pets and rescuing , it just seemed that 2007 held to many losses. I wish for a better year this year and for everyone to stay happy and healthy. I wish that for everyone.
